EVALUATIONS

We picked some comments written by participants on the evaluation form.

1. What are your general views of the training course?

Very interesting and informative. The traineer had a lot of knowledge and conducted the sessions smoothly and in a motivation way. The warm-ups activities could have been a bit shorter to have more time for debates.
♦ ♦ ♦
It was an interesting approach to discuss human rights.
♦ ♦ ♦
The activities were planned well but we were always short of time.
♦ ♦ ♦
The first days I was more unclear about what we are doing but after the second day, the program got a shape.
♦ ♦ ♦
Well elaborated way to approach human rights and let people from other countries and cultures share (bring and give) their differences.
♦ ♦ ♦
I think it was interesting, a lot of work and discussion in small groups, the trainer asked our opinion, feedback all the time. Playful activities made everything more alive.
♦ ♦ ♦
Good methodology.
♦ ♦ ♦
The course was interestşng, well-organized, full of useful information, but a little too short.
♦ ♦ ♦
I generally enjoyed the program. In case of emergency, the organizers and trainers acted fast.
♦ ♦ ♦
I think it was a good training course. However, I think the activities could have been more connected.

2. How were the activities and methods of the training course?

The trainer wanted all participants to attend activities. Activities were interactive.
♦ ♦ ♦
The first day I didn't feel they are connected to the topic, otherwise very creative and adequate program. Many activities were new to me.
♦ ♦ ♦
Methods were perfect, but I recommend more time for debates and deeper.
♦ ♦ ♦
Activities were really creative and educational. We had to use our mind and talents.
♦ ♦ ♦
Activities were involving and sometimes challenging. Sometimes they were not so close to the topic but I found them useful in an indirect way for facing the issues.
♦ ♦ ♦
I would have preferred more discussions, but the activities were helpful and educative.
♦ ♦ ♦
Really diverse and with a lot of engagement.
♦ ♦ ♦
I liked the "learn through play" approach. It was very right for the group. I would have liked more theoretical information.
♦ ♦ ♦
Activities were continuously getting better and especially in the last 2 days.

3. How do you evaluate the participation of the participants and your own participation in the TC?

Participants were engaged. I could, however, put more effort into writing/discussing the "reflection time".
♦ ♦ ♦
I think most of the people tried their best.
♦ ♦ ♦
I consider myself as a listener and collector of information
♦ ♦ ♦
The participants were extremely active. I was always involved in group activities and contributed to the discussion.
♦ ♦ ♦
There was a range of different backgrounds and some of the participants shared really useful and interesting information.
♦ ♦ ♦
We all had the chance to participate and share own opinion, most of us were proactive.
♦ ♦ ♦
The groups worked very well together. Participants were motivated and willing to participate.
♦ ♦ ♦
I appreciate so much the participation of the other participants and I think I should improve my own.

4. What did you learn? What skills and competences of yours did you improve during the TC?

Group learning techniques, knowledge on the topic, both theoretical and practical.
♦ ♦ ♦
Presentation skills, English language, I learnt a new theory (Overton window), which was very interesting.
♦ ♦ ♦
I learnt new non-formal education methods, improved self-awareness.
♦ ♦ ♦
I learnt more working methods to show and teach people more about human rights.
♦ ♦ ♦
I deepened my knowledge of human rights. I haven't thought about them too much. I improved my general understanding.
♦ ♦ ♦
Improved compeneces at human rights, English, learnt more about Turkey and other countries.
♦ ♦ ♦
Awareness of global issues around human rights.
♦ ♦ ♦
My public speech improved.

5. Do you think this TC reach its objectives? In what ways it was successful or not? What changes should be made for the future?

I think yes, just I recommend lees activities - more time for debates, byt it was great in any case.
♦ ♦ ♦
Yes, the activities were great to teach the topic of the project, we had enough time to get relaxed, also.
♦ ♦ ♦
It was very successful.
♦ ♦ ♦
The TC should be longer, more focused on the declaration of human rights itself. The debates and theatre were great, I suggest more of them. It was good that you included theory.
♦ ♦ ♦
Yes, it did. I feel that I got new information. I feel motivated to carry on the subject to my work.
♦ ♦ ♦
I think we used too much time for games, that could be used in learning productive knowledge. We could have more time to rest in the evening.
♦ ♦ ♦
I learnt a lot about human rights and I think it reached it's objectives.
♦ ♦ ♦
I think the course reached the objectives. It was successful because we learnt very much in a few days.
♦ ♦ ♦
I believe it reached some of the objectives, a bit more time would have been great. The topic is limitless and deserves more time.
♦ ♦ ♦
Yes, it did. The project increased my general knowledge about human rights. On my own, I want to search for more information about several specific topics.
♦ ♦ ♦
Yes, we definitely learnt more about human rights and its applications. We should have more time to go deeper.
♦ ♦ ♦
I think it was successful but I would prefer more focus on some aspects of human rights.
♦ ♦ ♦
I recommend for the future to take more narrow the topic since it is huge. And shorter coffee breaks so we have more time for activites.
